The property consists of a myriad of different sizes and configurations of condominium units. Everything from studios to two bedrooms. Since the building was built in 1976 it has gone through a number of different updates and renditions. And also since each unit is individually owned they have their own unique fit and finish and upgrades over the years. Many of them have been upgraded to absolute world-class levels. This property does allow both long and short-term vacation rental. This is a very common way in which owners create not just a way to offset expenses, but also as a way to generate a return on their money invested. Units can have annual gross rents over $150,000 per year. The maintenance fees at the Whaler include all utilities, electric, central AC, water, trash, sewer, Wi-Fi, access, cable TV, local phone service, storm flooding, general liability insurance, as well as all the security. The maintenance fees also include a monthly contribution to the capital reserve fund. Many units also have their own storage closet and wine storage. These units are known for their awesome outdoor wraparound lanais. The expansive use of the West Maui mountains, the Kaanapali golf course, and of course the Pacific ocean with views of Lanai and Molokai. The thing that attracts people to this number one beach in the world is of course the opulent shopping, exquisite dining, and the iconic soft white sandy beach, snorkeling, ocean activities, and the cosmic Hawaiian sunsets that are more like something out of this world. The Whaler also features a private fitness center, sauna, tennis courts, and a day spa,. There is an on-site property management with Aston. But many owners hire off site management companies as well The units are graded between gold and platinum. With obviously the higher levels receiving the most nightly rents. There are two buildings tower 1, and tower 2. Tower 1 is towards the north. The most prominent aspect of living at the Whaler is, in my opinion, direct, overhead views of Black Rock. There's something about seeing this iconic geographic beauty from above. The angle and the combination of black and blue from above is truly stunning.

Located on 12 floors in 2 buildings. This is a fee simple property. Both short term and long term rentals are allowed. Amenities include tennis courts, elevators, shops, manned security entry gate, cable, security, air conditioning, cabana, exercise room, recreation areas, bbq area, pool,hot tub and beach access. Pets are not allowed
