About The Whaler
The Whaler condos sit right on the sand along the Kaanapali beach walk that runs the length of the resort. Whalers Village, with its shops and restaurants, is next door, and the golf courses are just across the road.

The property covers about 7 acres (TMK 2-4-4-008-002). The concrete buildings went up in 1976 as two towers of 12 floors, with Tower 1 on the north side. Unit mix: 120 studios of about 523 to 542 square feet, 48 one bedroom, one bath units at 901 square feet, 192 one bedroom, two bath units at 901 to 941 square feet, and 48 two bedroom, two bath units at 1,444 square feet.
Each unit is individually owned, so fit and finish vary a lot. Some are original and many have been fully remodeled. Wraparound lanais are a signature here, with views across the golf course to the West Maui Mountains or out over the Pacific to Lanai and Molokai, and some units look down on Black Rock.
Amenities include a pool, hot tub, fitness center, sauna, tennis courts, BBQ area, elevators and a staffed security entry. Many units also have their own storage closet.
