Kapalua Ridge Villas is one of the most sought-after luxury condominium developments on Mauis west side. It occupies over 21 acres of beautifully landscaped area and 161 1-2 bedroom and 2-3 bathroom condos from 1125 - 2149 square feet on 3 floors in 28 buildings. That is nearly twice as much living space as most other condos on Maui. They are all fee simple. Plus, they may be rented both as short-term vacation rentals as well as long term. Kapalua is famous for pro golf courses, fantastic beaches like Ironwood, DT Fleming and Honolua Bay known for gorgeous snorkeling sites and some of the best surfing in Hawaii. Plus, there are miles of trails with some of the most spectacular coastal views ever. Kapalua has some of the finest golfing on Maui and a relaxing, totally luxurious spa and fitness center next to the world renown Montage resort just a short walk away. On the way back to the highway you will pass churches, restaurants, convenience store as well as The Pour House Italian restaurant. Head south from the Montage to Napili Bay and more spectacular snorkeling where you can see lots of sea turtles and then dine right on the beach at Merrimans.
Three of Hawaii's greatest beaches are located at the Kapalua Resort, which is only a short stroll from the villas. A number of accolades for quality have been given to one of these beaches, Kapalua Bay, including "Best Beach in the World" by Dr. Beach and "Best Beach in the US" by Conde Nast. The location of this bay shields it from strong winds and waves. It may come as no surprise that Kapalua Bay provides some of the greatest snorkeling on the island given how peaceful and welcoming its waters are. Every year, this beach is ranked among the best in the world because of its gentle waves, silky white sand, and spectacular beauty.
The Kapalua Ridge Villas provide panoramic views of the Hawaiian coastline and mountain range while sitting on a ridge overlooking the ocean. Many of these cottages, which are tucked away along the Bay Course, have views of the course as well as, in some cases, the Plantation Course in the distance.
The villas were constructed in 1980, and were intended for minimal density; on 21.5 acres, there are only 161 condominium homes with one or two bedrooms. In each of the 28 buildings, there are only five to six homes, and each house has a separate parking and storage. Two swimming pools, a recreation room, a BBQ area, and other amenities are available at The Ridge Villas. The Coastal Trail, the Spa Montage, and Oneloa Bay's beach are all located right across the street from The Ridge Villas. Numerous well-known restaurants, golf courses, and tennis courts are all close to the villas.
There are several factors that influence people's decision to vacation at The Ridge. One of these is that Kapalua Resort is a "low impact" resort; as a result, visitors staying at The Ridge enjoy the pleasure of having access to nearly unlimited activities without the hassle of noisy crowds, traffic, or heavy foot traffic.
