Kahoma Village in short: Kahoma Village is a newer master planned neighborhood in north Lahaina, between Honoapiilani Highway and Front Street near the Cannery Mall and Mala Wharf. It mixes townhome style condos with single family homes, it's fee simple, and vacation rentals aren't allowed, so it's a place people buy to live.
Fire and rebuild status: A small number of Kahoma Village buildings were damaged or lost in the August 2023 Lahaina wildfire, and most of the neighborhood was largely unaffected. Affected townhomes have been rebuilt, with some finished as brand new construction in 2025, and the neighborhood is in normal use today.

About Kahoma Village
Kahoma Village takes its name from an old plantation camp near Kahoma Stream. The plan called for about 203 homes on roughly 22 acres: 69 single family homes grouped in courtyards, 32 single family homes along carriageways, and 102 multi family homes, plus about 1 3/4 acres of parks. Homes in the MLS show build years from about 2018 on.
The courtyard homes were planned as three and four bedroom homes of about 1,165 to 1,670 square feet. The alley loaded homes run about 1,667 to 2,329 square feet with garages, and the multi family buildings have two bedroom units of about 1,042 square feet up to three bedroom units of about 1,287 square feet. Some units filed as condominiums in the MLS are larger, so check each listing.
It's a short walk to the beach, Mala Wharf and the Cannery Mall for groceries and restaurants, and an easy drive to the Lahainaluna schools. There's a lot you can do here without getting in the car.
