About Lahaina Shores
Lahaina Shores sits on hotel-zoned land, so it is not part of the Bill 9 Apartment District phase-out. Compare it with other Maui hotel-zoned properties.
The building sits right on the sand at 475 Front Street, on about 3.3 acres (TMK 2-4-6-002-007). It was built in 1974 in a plantation hotel style, with an arched colonnade lobby that opens toward the ocean, and has 199 units on seven floors: 168 studios of about 416 to 483 square feet and 31 one bedroom units of about 783 to 1,214 square feet, including a one bedroom penthouse.
Units have private lanais and central air conditioning, with views of either the West Maui Mountains or the ocean toward Lanai and Molokai depending on the side of the building. There's a pool, whirlpool spa, landscaped gardens, covered parking and extra indoor storage, and you can swim and snorkel right off the beach.
Much of Lahaina Town around the resort was destroyed in the August 2023 wildfire and is rebuilding. Many of the Front Street shops, galleries and restaurants the area was known for are gone or coming back slowly, so ask us about the surrounding blocks before you plan a visit.

Rentals and Zoning
