     Hana Maui, Hawaii offers some of the most unique and private Maui real estate for sale in all of Hawaii. Just travel the 52 miles from Kahului to Hana along the northern shore to a quaint town named Hana.  It’s called the “Road to Hana” and it is world-renowned. It leads not only to one of the most isolated communities in the State of Hawaii, but the journey will take you through some of the most sought after homes, vacant land and even some condos! The east swell create some awesome wave action on local surf spots and the fishing between "Hana Side" and The Big Island is very good (but get ready, those are some of the roughest seas in the world) 

Many world famous authors, musicians, business people, and artists have bought luxury real estate in Hana because of the remote and private nature of this beautiful region. Oprah Winfrey, George Harrison and Charles Lindburgh (also buried in Hana) just to name a few. Of the beaches in the Hana area have been described by James Michener as “the most perfect crescent of beach in the Pacific.”The population of Hana is only 1,235, with 390 households, and only 105 people per square mile. The road itself offers picturesque views of awesome waterfalls, rugged shoreline, and black sandy beaches. With a number of hiking trails leading to other hidden places with natural pools and waterfalls for swimming.

When you think of the “old” authentic unspoiled Hawaii, this is what you will find in Hana. Hana is also home to the “Hana Ranch” A 4500 acre cattle ranch that represents some of the best land in Hana. It is also a Hawaii ranch for sale. Although recently put under contract for an undisclosed price. You will surely see the gorgeous grass fed cattle roaming the mountain side hills grazing on some of the most green and luscious grass in the world. Although Hana might not offer some of the traditional tourist attractions you might expect from a destination town, that’s exactly why you should go there.

An opportunity to see a place where time almost stands still and the beauty of the area makes every picture a postcard. My personal suggestion is not to just zoom out the to Hana and then zoom back (even though that will take you literally all day) But rather stay a few nights in Hana. Explore the area and take in what 99% of the people who visit Hana miss. Some of the most gorgeous ocean front, beach front real estate in the world…complete with waterfalls, crystal clear pools and maybe even a black sandy beach.
